IM in Medford!

Hello All - I am now in Medford Oregon on a rotation in Internal Medicine in a hospital here. It has been amazing so far. Medford is a beautiful farming area. I am staying with a family a little out in the country and it has been really fun to wake up to a rooster each morning :) They have been great to let me stay with them - thanks!!!

I took advantage of my location and made a quick trip to Crater Lake - gorgeous!!

Also - I observed my first surgery - open heart. I never cease to marvel at the human body and this experience truly left me speechless.

I am learning so much - a bit like drinking from a fire hose. Oh - and the best news - I passed my board exam!!! Thanks to everyone for supporting me through the past couple months. It has meant more than you might know :)
