Hello All!
I am now in Unalaska, Alaska - follow the tail of Alaska out to the very end and there you will find this tiny beautiful island in the Bering Sea - about 800 miles from Anchorage. And no - you can NOT see Russia from here - close, very close :) Yes - it is the home of the Deadliest Catch and also the home of the Iliuliuk Medical Center where I am spending this month. It has been a blast so far. There are great people working out here who practice medicine literally on the frontier. I am learning so much and have some grand adventures. Here is a pic of the clinic and a pic of the "Bridge to the Other Side" - connecting the two islands - I live on the smaller of the two next to the Small Boat Harbor. Also - there are a crazy number of bald eagles out here. They are everywhere!
